Four-Star TE Brock Harris Commits To BYU Football

PROVO, Utah – Pine View High School star Brock Harris is staying in the state of Utah.
Harris committed to BYU football on Monday during a hat ceremony assembly at his high school in St. George.

The 6-foot-6, 238-pound tight end prospect picked BYU over a final six that included Michigan, Georgia, Oregon, Utah, and Miami.
Brock Harris commits to BYU Football
Harris is one of the top tight ends in the 2026 recruiting cycle and a top prospect in the country.
247Sports Composite rankings have Harris as the 56th overall recruit in the country. They also rank him as the fifth-best tight end in the country.
Harris is rated as the No. 1 recruit from the state of Utah for the class of 2026.
Harris’s commitment to BYU gives the Cougars their highest-rated recruit in the Kalani Sitake era (since 2016).
According to the 247Sports Composite, Harris is the third-highest rated prospect BYU has landed a commitment from since 2000.
Harris is a prospect who BYU has been pursuing for nearly five years, as he was a regular at BYU summer camps.
The recruitment heated up over recent months with Harris taking in-game visits during the BYU football season and a recent men’s basketball game at the Marriott Center against Utah in March.
Harris, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, plans to serve a mission before enrolling at BYU.
He also has ties to BYU; his father, Todd, was a former left-handed pitcher for the BYU baseball program in the 90s.
Harris is the fifth commitment in BYU’s 2026 recruiting class
During his junior season at Pine View High School, Harris had 41 receptions for 527 yards and nine touchdown grabs.
Harris is a high-level athlete at the tight end position. He thrives on catching passes in traffic and has also shown to be a strong blocker.
Harris earned recognition as a Polynesian Bowl selection and Under Armour All-American this past winter.
Adding Harris gives BYU its fifth commitment from the high school ranks for the 2026 recruiting class. He’s the third recruit from the state of Utah, joining Lehi’s PJ Takitaki and Skyridge QB Kaneal Sweetwyne.
