SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It’s hard to believe but the Utah Jazz have completed more than 10 percent of their regular-season games already.

With a shortened 72 game schedule, a significant percentage of the team’s games are being played in a compact amount of time, highlighting every strength, and shining a spotlight on every weakness.

Sitting at 4-4 to begin the season, here is where the Jazz rank compared to the rest of the NBA in every major statistical category.

Jazz Offense Rankings By The Numbers

Through eight games, the Jazz are the 20th highest-scoring team in the NBA at 108.5 points per game. The Milwaukee Bucks lead the NBA at 125.3 points per game, while the Oklahoma City Thunder ranked 30th at 102.0 points per game.

The Jazz highest scoring outing of the season was 130 points which they scored in a win earlier this week against the San Antonio Spurs.

Their lowest output came in a loss to the Phoenix Suns in the fourth game of the season in which they scored just 95 points.

The Jazz have the 19th best field goal percentage in the NBA at 44.9 percent. The Bucks again lead the NBA at 50.5 percent from the floor.

Meanwhile, the Jazz are the 13th ranked three-point shooting team at 36.5 percent. The Bucks lead the league at 43.7 percent.

The Jazz are the 28th ranked free-throw shooting team at 70.6 percent.

The Jazz are the sixth-best defensive rebounding team at 37.6 rebounds per game.

The team records the second-fewest number of steals per game at just 5.4 per outing.

Conversely, the Jazz record the 10th most blocks per game of any team in the NBA. Thanks to Rudy Gobert, the team blocks 5.3 shots per game.
