Utah Jazz Pay Visit To Kids At Primary Children’s Hospital

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz made their annual trip to visit the kids at Primary Children’s Hospital.

The players took some time doing activities like playing basketball as well as taking pictures and signing autographs for the kids at Primary Children’s.
“Just the interactions on the kids’ faces and seeing them happy, and to be able to give back and the opportunity to meet new people,” Royce O’Neale said. “This helps take your mind off of basketball and cherish the good moments in life. To put a smile on everybody’s faces and enjoy the moments.”
O’Neale mentioned that he enjoyed making t-shirts and jerseys with some of the kids.
“It makes me feel good,” O’Neale stated. “Just to be able to be in the position that I am in to give back and interact with the kids. To show support that they show us.”

The Jazz have lost their last three games but the players were able to take their minds off of the game and focus on putting smiles on the kids’ faces.
“It feels good to be able to play and spend time with these kids,” Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic said. “It’s great to be here to make their day. After dealing with a couple of losses and then to come here and see what real life is. Seeing kids that are fighting a bigger fight than we do on the court.”
Bogdanovic made his first appearance at Primary Children’s hospital and really enjoyed his visit.
“I love to do all of this just to make kids happy,” Bogdanovic said. “All of the kids have pure hearts. They are really happy to see us and we are happy to be here and play with all of them.”
