SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Trent Forrest completed a three-point play with a nifty move during Utah’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans hosted the Jazz at Smoothie King Center on Monday, January 3.
With 7:05 to go until halftime, Forrest dribbled into the paint with Pelicans’ guard Garrett Temple on his back.
The second-year guard from Florida State hung in the air before sinking a shot while being fouled by Temple.
Forrest completed the three-point play at the charity stripe to give the Jazz a 34-31 lead.

At halftime, the Jazz owned a 52-37 advantage.
Forest had three points on 1-1 field goals. He added one rebound in three minutes on the court.
A+ sequence from Trent Forrest.
Gets under Valanciunas on the defensive end pushing him off balance on his jumper, then gets his defender in jail and gets the and one.
He couldn't do that earlier in the year.

This season, Forrest is averaging 1.4 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 8.3 minutes per game.
Utah’s game against New Orleans is broadcast on AT&T Sports Network, NBA League Pass, and The Zone Sports Network.
