Three-Pointers Help Jazz To Quick Start In Game 3 Against Grizzlies

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz hit multiple three-point shots to propel a quick start in Game 3 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies hosted the Jazz at FedEx Forum on Saturday, May 29.
Jazzmen Mike Conley, Royce O’Neale, Joe Ingles, and Georges Niang combined to bury sevent triples during the first quarter of the game.
O’Neale led the Jazz with nine points on 3-5 shooting from beyond the arc.

Conley connected on a pair of threes.
Niang and Ingles each knocked down one attempt from downtown.
At the end of the opening 12 minutes of play, the Jazz owned a 34-22 lead.

Utah shot 50.0 percent overall and 7-15 from distance.
During the first two games of the series, the Jazz averaged 43 attempts from three.
The Jazz have averaged 43 three point attempts in both of the first two games which is identical to their regular season average.

By comparison, the Grizzlies shot 36.4 percent from the field, including 2-7 or 16.7 on three-pointers.
Ja Morant led Memphis with eight points in the quarter.
