Joe Ingles Buries Triple For 750th Career Three-Pointer Against Hornets

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah forward Joe Ingles went one-on-one against Charlotte center Bismack Biyombo and buried a three-pointer over the Hornets’ big man for his 750th career triple.
Ingles nailed the triple during the third quarter of the game between the Hornets and Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Friday, January 10.
The Jazz switched Biyombo onto Ingles and the Utah forward took advantage of the mismatch. Ingles drilled from the top of the arc to the right angle, rose up, and sank a three-pointer from 25-feet out over the Charlotte center. Ingles’ basket put the Jazz on top of the Hornets 76-43 with 6:35 left in the third quarter of play.

Utah closed out the quarter with a 25 point advantage and were up 87-62 as the two squads went to the fourth quarter.
At the end of the third quarter, Ingles had scored 11 points on 3-6 field goals including 3-5 from behind the arc. The forward added 3 assists in 21 minutes on the floor.

Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic led Utah with 16 points.
Rudy Gobert had a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. The French Rejection added 6 blocks to his stat line during 29 minutes of play.
Terry Rozier led the Hornets with 20 points on 8-13 shooting.
