Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Connects After Crossover Against Grizzlies

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell sunk a layup after hitting Jonas Valančiūnas with a mini crossover during Utah’s postseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies hosted the Jazz for Game 3 of the first round series on Saturday, May 29.
With 7:39 remaining in the second quarter, Mitchell drove into the paint and crossed up Valančiūnas before dribbling past the big man for a two-point field goal.
Mitchell’s bucket stretched Utah’s lead to 46-33.

At the halftime break, Utah led 62-51.
During the first half of Game 3, Mitchell had nine points points on 3-9 field goals.

After missing Game 1 of the series, the fourth-year guard led Utah to a Game 2 victory with 25 points.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 26.4 points per contest on 43.8 percent shooting.
