Doncic, James Probable As Jazz Host Lakers

SALT LAKE CITY – Luka Doncic is expected to play in his first road game as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers when they travel to face the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
Doncic is listed as probable to play in Utah in the Lakers final game before the All-Star break.

Jazz Look To Split Two-Game Series With Doncic, Lakers
The Jazz will look to bounce back from Monday’s lopsided 132-113 loss to the Lakers.
John Collins and Lauri Markkanen combined to score 34 points in the loss, but the team was outplayed from the opening tip in Los Angeles.

“Playing in that environment for our team is so good, because there’s levels to this,” Jazz coach Will Hardy said after the loss. “To be in that building with the kind of heightened emotion and the buzz in the room, it’s good for our guys to understand what’s necessary in those moments.”
The Jazz committed 19 turnovers as they struggled to adjust to the Lakers new-look defense.
LA limited the Jazz to shooting just 30 percent from three, connecting on 12 of their 40 attempts.
The Lakers will enter the All-Star break after Wednesday’s contest, while the Jazz will host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.
