Brice Sensabaugh Sparks Big First Quarter Run For Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY- After running away from the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night, Brice Sensabaugh and the Utah Jazz are looking for their second consecutive victory as they welcome the Charlotte Hornets to Delta Center.
It was a nightmare start for the Jazz in the first quarter. The Hornets opened a double-digit lead not even halfway through the opening frame and the Jazz seemed completely discombobulated, air-balling four shots in a row.
It seemed like Charlotte might run away with the contest early, that was until Brice Sensabaugh came in off the bench.
When Sensabaugh entered the game with 6:51 remaining in the quarter, the Hornets were up by a score of 18-7. He drained his first shot attempt, a three-pointer, and then followed it up with a tough Euro step layup that led to an and-1 opportunity.

Sensabaugh scored six points in 20 seconds, pulling Utah back to within five and igniting what would be a 23-8 run for the Jazz that gave them a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
Brice would go on to score six more points during the run to lead all scorers with 12 at the end of the quarter.
