Ace Bailey Scores First Points In Utah Jazz Jersey

SALT LAKE CITY – No. 5 overall draft pick Ace Bailey scored his first points as a member of the Utah Jazz in the SLC Summer League on Saturday.

After missing a couple of jump shots, Bailey went to work down low and got a tip-in to drop.

Bailey’s first few attempts were shots that were a staple for him in college: a pull-up and a step-back.

After about six minutes of action with no points, he chose to go downhill and got some second-chance points as a reward.

In his first stint in the summer league, he had two points and four rebounds.

About 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League

The 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League kicks off at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Saturday, July 5.

The Philadelphia 76ers, Memphis Grizzlies, and Oklahoma City Thunder join the Jazz in this year’s four-team field.

Each team will play three games before heading to Nevada for the 2025 Las Vegas Summer League.

Each of the six games will air nationally. Jazz play-by-play announcer Craig Bolerjack, analyst Thurl Bailey, and sideline reporter Lauren Green will headline all TV broadcasts.

All three Jazz games will air locally on KJZZ-TV and KSL Sports Zone radio.
