SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The National Basketball Players Association is partnering with Russell Westbrook’s clothing line to create social justice shirts for all NBA players.

The shirts will incorporate some messages that were not approved by the NBA for players to wear on the back of their jerseys in Orlando.

According to Stadium and The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the message options for the lifestyle shirts include: Systemic Racism; Police Reform; I Can’t Breathe; No Justice No Peace; Break the Cycle; Strange Fruit; By Any Means; Power to the People; Equality; Am I Next?

On July 3, the NBA and the Players Association agreed to a list of social justice messages that players can wear on the back of their uniforms. The list that was approved includes: Black Lives Matter; Say Their Names; Vote; I Can’t Breathe; Justice; Peace; Equality; Freedom; Enough; Power to the People; Justice Now; Say Her Name; Sí Se Puede (Yes We Can); Liberation; See Us; Hear Us; Respect Us; Love Us; Listen; Listen to Us; Stand Up; Ally; Anti-Racist; I Am A Man; Speak Up; How Many More; Group Economics; Education Reform; and Mentor.

The messages that Westbrook’s clothing line added that isn’t available to the players for their uniforms are Systemic Racism; Police Reform; No Justice No Peace; Break the Cycle; Strange Fruit; By Any Means; Power of the People; Am I Next?

Three Jazz players announced over the last few weeks that they will be wearing messages on the back of their uniforms. Rudy Gobert will wear “Equality” while both Jordan Clarkson and Tony Bradley will wear “Peace” on their uniforms.
