Jordan Clarkson, Tony Bradley Will Wear ‘Peace’ On Back Of Jersey When NBA Season Restarts

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two Utah Jazz players announced which social justice word or phrase they will wear on the back of their uniforms when the NBA season restarts.

Guard Jordan Clarkson and center Tony Bradley both told the media on Sunday that they will have the word “peace” on the back of their uniforms.
“I put peace because everybody is fighting for a peace of mind especially all of the Black Lives Matter things,” Clarkson said. “The whole thing that everybody is fighting for at the end of the day calls for peace for all of us. To feel that equality in all areas and aspects of life. I feel like that’s the reason why I picked that.”

Bradley and Clarkson are the second and third members of the Jazz to announce a phrase or word to put on the back of their jerseys. Rudy Gobert was the first one when he said he was going to put “Equality” on the back of his uniform.
On July 3, the NBA and the Players’ Association approved a list of 28 phrases or words that can be put on the back of uniforms when the NBA restarts their season.
The Jazz will restart the 2019-20 season on July 30 when they face the New Orleans Pelicans in Orlando. The game will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. MDT and will be televised on TNT and AT&T SportsNet.
