Tony Finau Remains In Contention Following Round Three At The Northern Trust

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau remained in contention following his third day at The Northern Trust tournament.
The Northern Trust takes place from August 19-23 at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Finau played his third round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs event on Saturday, August 21.
The Utahn fell two spots on the leaderboard after his round on Saturday.
Finau shot four-under for a score of 68 on Day 3 of the tournament.

After shooting 67 on Day 1 and 64 on Day 2, Finau finished his third round with a total score of 14-under for the event.
The score tied him for fourth place with Justin Thomas.
Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith were tied atop the leaderboard at 16-under.

The purse at The Northern Trust is $9.5 million.
Sunday’s final round of the tourney was postponed until Monday, August 23 due to Hurricane Henri.
