SALT LAKE CITY – Utah linebacker Johnathan Hall is ready to tear up opposing offenses from the front seven again this season.
Head coach Kyle Whittingham spoke on Hall’s recent position switch and what he expects from him going into year three with the Utes.
“Johnathan Hall was recruited as a safety a couple of years back,” Whittingham said. “It was very evident he was going to grow into a linebacker. He’s now 230 pounds. He played a lot of good snaps for us last year as a linebacker. He’s really embraced the position change. We expect big things from him this fall.”
Hall was not ranked on our 60 in 60 list last season.
See where he gets placed on this year’s list after the 2025 College Football season.
