Kalani Sitake Calls Isaiah Glasker ‘One Of The Most Athletic Linebackers’ He’s Seen

SALT LAKE CITY – Isaiah Glasker emerged in 2024 as a shining star in the middle of a Big 12-best BYU Cougar defense that terrorized and harassed opponents into turnovers all season.
Glasker may have missed out on an All-Big 12 preseason team, but he won’t be left out on the KSL Sports Zone Hans & Scotty G. 60 in 60 watchlist.
“Glasker is one of the most athletic linebackers I’ve ever been around,” Sitake said with conviction. “He’s tall and he’s big, and normally when we projected him to be a linebacker, he was a receiver and a safety in high school. So he’s used to running fast, and it just seemed like he never slowed down when he got here.”
“You look at his instincts and the way that he’s coached, he’s always open to try to find ways to get better,” Sitake said. “He can blitz, he’s physical, he’s a complete package, and he is a big, big time player.
Glasker led the defense with 70 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 14.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage. He had three interceptions, forced a fumble, and scored a defensive touchdown in his breakout campaign.
