Tyler Huntley Leads Ravens To Comeback Win Over Broncos

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley led the Baltimore Ravens to a comeback victory over the Denver Broncos during Week 13 of the 2022 NFL season.

The Ravens hosted the Broncos at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, December 4.

Huntley led Baltimore back to capture a 10-9 win thanks to a rushing touchdown during the final minute of the fourth quarter.

With 28 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the former Utah star kept the ball and ran it for two yards and into the end zone for six points. The touchdown tied the game at 9-9. After a Justin Tucker PAT, the Ravens took a one-point lead.

The Broncos moved the ball 38 yards down the field on the final drive of the game before attempting a game-winning field goal. The kick fell short and Baltimore completed the comeback.

Huntley finished the game 27/32 passing for 187 yards and an interception. He added 10 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown with his legs.

With the win, the Ravens improved their record to 8-4 this season.

Baltimore’s next game is on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 11 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will be televised on CBS.

About Tyler Huntley

Before his in the NFL, Huntley was a standout player at the University of Utah. He played for the Utes from 2016-19. During his Utah career, the Dania, Florida native threw for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions with a 67 percent completion rate.

Huntley signed with the Ravens after going undrafted following the 2020 NFL Draft.

He’s spent the majority of his time in Baltimore as the backup to former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

During his three seasons with the Ravens, Huntley had thrown for 1,096 yards, three touchdowns, and four interceptions prior to the Week 13 win. He’d also run for 317 yards and two touchdowns.
