Former USU LB Bobby Wagner Ranked Among Top 100 NFL Players For Sixth Time

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner ranked among the top 100 NFL players for the sixth time in his career.

Wagner was named to the league’s The Top 100 Players of 2021 on Sunday, August 22.

The Top 100 Players list is voted on by NFL players.

It was the former USU standout’s sixth time on the list.

Wagner was ranked No. 25 on the list.

Last season, Wagner was ranked No. 13.

Wagner will begin his 10th season in the league in September.

After a great career at Utah State, Wagner was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Wagner has played his entire career in Seattle and is the Seahawks’ franchise leader in tackles.

He is currently one of the best linebackers in the NFL.

During his career, Wagner has recorded 1,213 total tackles, 726 solo tackles, 22.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries, 10 interceptions, one touchdown, and 55 pass breakups.

Wagner and the Seahawks open the 2021 NFL season against the Indianapolis Colts on September 12.
