Taron Johnson Intercepts Lamar Jackson For Massive 101-Yard Pick Six

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Weber State and current Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson picked off Lamar Jackson and returned it for a 101-yard pick six.
It was a massive pick six for Taron Johnson and Buffalo as the Bills took a 17-3 lead with under one minute remaining in the third quarter of the AFC Divisional Round against Baltimore.
The Ravens were knocking on the door of potentially tying the game when Jackson threw to the end zone. Johnson picked it off in the end zone and returned it all the way to the other side of the field for the touchdown.

It’s the second career pick six for Johnson. The INT for a TD is tied for the longest interception return for a touchdown in NFL postseason history. George Teague also had a 101-yard pick six in 1993.
On December 13, 2020 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Johnson returned an interception for a 51-yard touchdown. That was his first pick six of his career.
In his three-year NFL career, Johnson has three career interceptions, including the two this season that went for touchdowns. His first career interception came as a rookie in 2018 against Tennessee on October 7.
Johnson was taken in the fourth round with the 121st overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Bills.
That was Jackson’s first interception of the game. The winner will advance to the AFC Championship game to battle the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs or the Cleveland Browns.
