Kyle Van Noy Receives Second Super Bowl Ring

BOSTON, Mass. – On Thursday night, the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots received their championship rings.
It’s the sixth title for the Patriots in franchise history.
For former BYU linebacker Kyle Van Noy, it’s his second ring. He posted a video on Instagram as he was opening the box with his new ring.
Van Noy collected his first Super Bowl in 2017 with a comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
The Patriots knocked off the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII this past season.
After being drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round in 2014, Van Noy was traded to New England and just finished his third season with the team.
In the Super Bowl, he collected 4 solo tackles, including a sack and hit the quarterback three times.
Through his career, the former Cougar has two interceptions, 7 pass deflections, 2 fumble recoveries, including 1 touchdown and 11 sacks to go with his 154 solo tackles in 66 games played.
The ring is the largest Super Bowl ring of all-time. It was crafted in 10 karat gold with the Patriots’ logo brought to life through a custom-cut, red and blue stone. 38 diamonds surround the logo with an additional diamond set in the star. The logo sits on top of six Lombardi trophies and have 123 diamonds. The ring features an average of 416 round diamonds.
