SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Senator Mitt Romney made an appearance as Ted Lasso on social media prior to the upcoming Halloween weekend.

Romney is seen catching a soccer ball in the GIF while wearing a Real Salt Lake top, mustache, whistle, and the famous khaki pants to complete the outfit.

Romney also posted a second GIF where he is giving a box of biscuits to his “boss,” senior Senator of Arizona Kyrsten Sinema. Lasso gives a box of biscuits to the owner of A.F.C Richmond every morning when he first gets to work.
The TV series Ted Lasso has garnered global attention following the conclusion of the second series.
Lasso is the American soccer coach of A.F.C Richmond and despite having very little knowledge of how the game of soccer is played, has success coaching through his leadership style and innocent sense of humor.
