KSL Sports Rewind High School Football Preseason Top 25: Nos. 10-6

SALT LAKE CITY – The High School football season is approaching and the state is filled with talented programs that are ready to battle for a state championship in the state of Utah.
Dane Stewart and Jeff Hansen of KSL Sports Rewind revealed another five teams in their preseason top 25 ranking.

10. Mountain Ridge Sentinels, 6A Region 2
Head Coach: Nick Robins, 1st season
Last Season: 5-6 overall, 3-2 Region 2, 3rd in region, eliminated in 2nd round of playoffs
Key Returners: RB Zach Ofisa, big offensive line, TE/LB Tytan Dejong

9. American Fork Cavemen, 6A Region 3
Head Coach: Aaron Behm, 16th season
Last Season: 5-7 overall, 2-3 Region 3, 4th in region, eliminated in quarterfinals of playoffs
Key Returners: RB Prince Afu, WR/TE Cash Taiese, WR/TE Dyson Richards, WR David Dean
Season Opener: vs. Pleasant Grove on Friday, August 15 at 7:00 PM
8. West Panthers, 5A Region 4
Head Coach: Olosaa Solovi, 7th season
Last Season: 6-6 overall, 5-1 Region 6, share of region title, eliminated in 2nd round of playoffs

7. Ridgeline Riverhawks, 4A Region 11
Head Coach: Travis Cox, 6th season
Last Season: 12-1 overall, 6-0 Region 11, region champions, eliminated in semifinals of playoffs
Key Returners: QB Nate Dahle (Eastern Washington), DE/TE Krew Jones, WR Graham Livingston, OL/DT Easton Hammond
Season Opener: vs. Morgan on Friday, August 15 at 7:00 PM
6. Skyridge Falcons, 6A Region 3
Head Coach: Justin Hemm, 3rd season
Last Season: 10-3 overall, 5-0 Region 3, region champions, eliminated in semifinals of playoffs
Key Returners: QB Kaneal Sweetwyne (BYU), WR Hunter Sheffield, WR/CB Jernaro Gilford, LB Griffin Kunz

Game Night Live
Each week, Jeremiah Jensen and Stevenson Sylvester broadcast one high school football game from anywhere around the state of Utah.
Jeremiah Jensen is an Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter who has been covering sports in Utah for KSL since October 2005.
Jensen, a native of Star Valley, Wyoming has a passion for covering the sports teams he grew up watching. He recently won a regional Emmy and UBEE awards for Best Sports Story in 2011. His work has also been recognized by the Utah Society of Professional Journalists.
Sylvester is a former Utah Utes standout linebacker who played college football from 2006-09. He was a member of the Utah team that beat Alabama in the 2008 Sugar Bowl. Sylvester was selected in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2010 NFL Draft. He went on to play five seasons in the NFL, including four with the Steelers, and one with the Buffalo Bills.
The Game Night Live Game of the Week will be at Skyridge High School, where the Falcons will host the Mountain Ridge Sentinels. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM MT on Friday, August 15. The game will be streamed on the KSL Sports app, KSLSports.com, and the KSL+ app.
