Ridgeline Riverhawks’ Krew Jones Lists BYU Among Top Schools

MILLVILLE, Utah – Four-star two-way terror Krew Jones has narrowed his list of potential colleges, including the BYU Cougars among a dozen powerhouse programs.
A junior-to-be at Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah, Jones announced he had narrowed his choices in a late July social media post.

The Big Ten’s Ohio State Buckeyes, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oregon Ducks, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, and Washington Huskies made the cut. The Florida State Seminoles and Stanford Cardinal from the ACC remain in Jones’ top-12. SEC schools include the Texas A&M Aggies, Oklahoma Sooners, and Tennessee Volunteers.
The BYU Cougars are the only in-state and Big 12 program to make its way into Jones’ remaining choices.
About Krew Jones
Already listed at 6’4 and 233 pounds, Jones has been frightening opponents since he stepped on the field as a freshman in 2023. Jones and the Riverhawks have advanced to the 4A UHSAA semifinals in consecutive seasons and earned a No. 1 seed in 2024.
He played 13 games in each of his first two seasons, scoring 14 combined touchdowns on the ground and through the air. Jones has 430 yards of offense, including 336 receiving yards on 25 catches.

Jones has been one of the most productive defensive players in Utah over the past two seasons.
After registering 55 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss, and 10.5 sacks as a freshman, Jones exploded the following year. He generated consistent pressure, piling up 12 sacks, 17 tackles for a loss, and 93 stops.
