SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Mammoth’s elite list of young prospects will yet again make their way to Salt Lake City to participate in the second consecutive prospect development camp at the Park City Ice Arena and Utah’s Olympic Oval from June 29 to July 3.
With Delta Center under construction, this year’s camp will look a little bit different than last.

On-ice sessions are scheduled for 9:45 – 11:45 A.M. and 12:15 – 2:15 P.M. on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1. Both practice sessions will be open to the public.

As the Delta Center enters its first full offseason of renovations, the Mammoth will instead utilize Park City Ice Arena and Utah’s Olympic Oval.
On-ice sessions are scheduled for 9:45 – 11:45 A.M. and 12:15 – 2:15 P.M. on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1. Both practice sessions will be open to the public.
With an inability host a full development game at Delta Center, the mammoth will participate in a four-on-four intra-squad scrimmage that will simulate a mock game with on-ice officials on Thursday, July 3 at 12 P.M. at Utah’s Olympic Oval.
The Mammoth will host 500 youth hockey players throughout the Utah Amateur Hockey Association to watch the closed scrimmage.
With a star-studded group of young prospects, players such as Dmitri Simashev, Daniil But, Tij Iginla, Cole Beaudoin, Michael Hrabal, Gabe Smith, Tomas Lavoie and Will Skahan are among the top skaters expected to attend the camp.
The No. 4 overall selection will also likely be in attendance.
A full roster for the camp will be released following the NHL Draft.
Centered around optimizing sightlines for future Utah Hockey Club games and increasing overall capacity, the Delta Center will undergo a multi-year transformation that will alter the geometry of the arena bowl.
“This transformation will create the most compelling, welcoming, and exciting experience for hockey fans, while also allowing us to maintain the steep vertical seating for basketball that has made Delta Center such a dynamic venue with its loud atmosphere that energizes our players night after night.”
Once completed, seating capacity for hockey will increase from 11,131 to approximately 17,000, with every seat in the upper and lower bowls having a full view of both goals.
