SALT LAKE CITY- Utah Hockey Club was on the wrong side of the momentum train for a moment, but Alexander Kerfoot boosted the club with his ninth goal of the season. Kerfoot’s goal gave Utah a 3-2 lead 5:58 into the second period.
Utah HC (31-27-11, 73 points) hosts Tampa Bay (40-23-5, 85 points) at Delta Center on Saturday, March 22. The Lightning are fifth in the Eastern Conference, eight points clear of the wild card spots. Utah begins the weekend fifth in the Western Conference Wild Card race. St. Louis holds the final spot with 77 points, followed by Vancouver (76 points) and Calgary (75 points).
Utah is 14-13-7 at home in its inaugural season. The Lightning are 16-15-3 on the road.
Fellas didn't like that last one so they took it back.

The goal nullified a Tampa Bay surge when a coach’s challenge erased a Utah goal. After a wrister from Lawson Crouse was wiped off the scoreboard, the Lightning wasted no time tying the game on an Anthony Cirelli goal.
Less than a minute later, Kevin Stenlund found Kerfoot in front of the net for the lead-changer.
Stenlund (9) and John Marino (9) earned assists on the play. Utah has outshot high-scoring Tampa Bay 13-9.
