Zack Moss Will Play In Alamo Bowl Against Texas

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Utes star running back Zack Moss put all of the speculation to rest and said that he will play in the Alamo Bowl against the Texas Longhorns in the final game of his college career.
Moss told his coaches on Tuesday or Wednesday of his intention to play in the game rather than sitting out to prepare for the NFL Draft. Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson will not play in the bowl game.

“I just wanted to play with my guys,” Moss said. “That was one of the reasons why I wanted to come back was to play with these guys and I definitely want to finish it off. I am healthy enough to play and that’s exactly what I want to do.”

When asked if it was a collective decision among the seniors or if he made the decision by himself.
“It was an individual decision,” Moss stated. “I love this team, I love the program, coaching, fans and community, so why not give everyone one last game.”
Moss finished the regular season with a Pac-12-best 1,359 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He was named Pac-12 Player of the Year after the season ended.
The Alamo Bowl will take place on Tuesday, December 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
