Jazz Send Well Wishes To Utah Football Ahead Of Rose Bowl Game

PASADENA, Calif. – The Utah Jazz shared their support of Utah football prior to the Utes’ meeting with the Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2023 Rose Bowl Game.
The No. 8 Utes and No. 11 Nittany Lions are slated to play at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on Monday, January 2.

Less than two hours before kickoff, the Jazz sent their support to Utah football.
“Good luck to our friends at @Utah_Football today!!” the NBA team tweeted. Alongside the message, the franchise shared multiple photos of Jazz players at Rice-Eccles Stadium for a Utah football game.

The Jazz currently own a 19-20 record and sit in third place in the Northwest Division. The Jazz’s next game is at home against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, January 3 at 7 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, KSL Sports Zone, and KSLSports.com.

Rose Bowl Game: Penn State vs. Utah
After winning its second straight Pac-12 Conference Championship, Utah earned a spot in the Rose Bowl Game in back-to-back seasons.
Last year’s Rose Bowl contest featured the Utes and the Ohio State Buckeyes. After Utah QB Cam Rising went down with an injury in the second half, the Buckeyes came back from down double-digits to capture a 48-45 win.
Before being replaced by Barnes, Rising was 17/22 passing for 214 yards and two touchdowns.
This season, Rising and the Utes look to avenge the loss and pick up their first Rose Bowl Game victory.

Utah enters the game with a 10-3 record this season. Penn State arrived in California with a 10-2 record.
After winning its first five games of the season, the Nittany Lions dropped two of three games in losses to Michigan and Ohio State. Penn State won its final four regular season games.
