Utah LB Devin Lloyd, USU WR Deven Thompkins Named AP All-Americans

SALT LAKE CITY – More honors rolled in for Utah football star linebacker Devin Lloyd as he was named Associated Press All-American on Monday morning.

Devin Lloyd was named to the AP All-American first team, which was released on Monday and is one of three players from the Pac-12 named to the team. Utah State star wide receiver Deven Thompkins earned third team honors as an all-purpose player.

Lloyd is on his way to becoming a consensus All-American. His current postseason award list includes:

• Reese’s Senior Bowl, CBS Sports, ESPN, Walter Camp, FWAA, AP All-America first-team
• Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year
• Pac-12 All-Conference First-Team
• Pac-12 Championship Game MVP

• Chuck Bednarik Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Semifinalist
• Reese’s Senior Bowl Invitee

• Rose Bowl Game Pac-12 Player of the Week (Oct. 18)
• Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week (Oct. 12, Nov. 9)
