Utah Jazz To Honor Tickets, Issue Refunds During Coronavirus Hiatus

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz will be offering refunds for individual game tickets purchased while the league is in hiatus due to coronavirus concerns according to a release sent out by the organization.
Vivint Smart Home Arena will honor tickets already purchased by individuals or rental groups for the postponed games assuming they are rescheduled. Tickets may also be refunded upon request.
Tickets that were purchased as part of mini-plans or groups, half-season or season tickets packages will also be honored when games resume. If games are ultimately canceled, those tickets will be credited to the next season or refunded upon request.

Fans can obtain refunds through their point of purchase.
The expiration dates for Jazz Notes will be extended according to the release and will not expire until further notice. Fan Experience Packages will not be refunded unless games are canceled, while Junior Jazz youth program tickets remain valid until games are canceled.
The NBA will remain in hiatus for the next 30 days, at which point the league will determine how to manage the remaining games in the 2019-2020 season.

How Do I Prevent It?
The CDC has some simple recommendations, most of which are the same for preventing other respiratory illnesses or the flu:
- Avoid close contact with people who may be sick
- Avoid touching your face
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Always wash your hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
The CDC does not recommend wearing a facemask respirator to protect yourself from coronavirus unless a healthcare professional recommends it.
