SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic connected on a pair of three-pointers on back-to-back possessions during Utah’s game against the Detroit Pistons.

The Jazz hosted the Pistons at Vivint Arena on Tuesday, February 2.

With 7:46 remaining in the second quarter, Jordan Clarkson dished the ball to Bogdanovic, who rose up and buried a triple.

After Derrick Favors stole the ball on the Pistons’ subsequent possession, Joe Ingles passed the ball off to Bogdanovic.

The Jazz forward buried another shot from beyond the arc to give Utah a 51-33 lead.

Bogdanovic’s threes were 23 seconds apart.

After his long-range field goals, Bogdanovic had 8 points on 3-6 shooting, including 2-3 from downtown.

In addition to his scoring, he pulled down one rebound and handed out an assist.

Bogdanovic posted a plus-19 rating during his first nine minutes on the court.

Quin Snyder on Bojan Bogdanovic

Prior to the game, Jazz head coach Quin Snyder talked about Bogdanovic’s recent play. The Jazz forward entered the game against Detroit averaging 14.7 points per game but had scored more than 29 points in each of Utah’s last two games.

“More than anything just playing,” Snyder said when asked if there was a secret to Bogdanovic’s recent success. “We’ve talked about it before. He’s missed so much time and you just keep playing and not overthink it. I just try to remember to remind him how good he is and he’s really good. We saw the things that he’s done in his whole career. He did it last year. He’s in a good place and he’ll continue.”

Pistons vs. Jazz

At the half, the Jazz owned a 69-46 lead.

Utah began the contest shooting 55.0 percent overall and 45.5 percent from distance.

Donovan Mitchell led the team with 15 points.

The Jazz also played excellent defense and held the Pistons to 30.0 percent from the field, including 21.4 percent from three.

Mason Plumlee led Detroit with 13 points.

Utah’s game against Detroit is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet and 97.5 FM.
