TORONTO – The Utah Jazz fought through turnover and shooting struggles to remain competitive with the Toronto Raptors but ultimately came up short in Scotiabank Arena on Friday.
The Jazz shot better from the field and won the rebounding battle but 16 more turnovers and a 25.8 percent mark from downtown doomed Utah on the road.
Walker Kessler played one of the best games of his young career against the Raptors. The third-year center posted 18 points, 25 rebounds, and a career-high 8 blocks.
The Utah Jazz are now 0-2 to start the road trip and look onward to stops in Philadelphia, Boston, and Memphis.

Walker Kessler’s 17 first half rebounds stand alone for the second most by a player in @utahjazz history.
Gobert and Ostertag each had games of 16.
