Joe Ingles To Sport New Shoes For Autism Awareness Night

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz will face the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The game will be special for Jazz forward Joe Ingles, who will be showing support for Autism Awareness.
Ingles announced on social media on February 13, that his son Jacob was diagnosed with autism.
He and his wife Renae decided to get a tattoo for the occasion.
“Why don’t we get tattoos not only for Jacob, but for autism in general?” Ingles said.
They both put a puzzle piece symbol for autism on their forearm.
“With the platform that I am on in the NBA, I want people to ask (about the symbol),” he said.

Part of the autism awareness night, the players will wear special shoes during the game that has the autism symbol and colors and will have “Jacob” on the shoe.

The Jazz are 44-30 on the season and are currently in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. Ingles is averaging 11.9 points and 5.4 assists per game this season.
Tip-off between the Jazz and the Lakers is at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
