Jazz With Strong Start From Three Against Warriors

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz had a strong start from the three-point line in the first quarter against the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.

Despite the Warriors holding a 31-30 lead at the end of the first quarter, the Jazz knocked down five threes on 12 attempts in the first 12 minutes of play.
Bojan Bogdanovic kept up his strong play by scoring 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from the three-point line. Joe Ingles and Royce O’Neale each knocked down a triple as well in the first.

Golden State went 4-of-9 from beyond the arc in the opening period. Jordan Poole, Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Kent Bazemore all made a triple. Green had 10 points to lead the Warriors, while Curry added 8 points.
The Warriors are trying to get out of the play-in tournament, while the Jazz are attempting to lock in the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. Utah is still without Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell due to injuries.
The Jazz are on the road for a quick trip to the bay area before returning to Vivint Arena for their final home game of the regular season. They will face the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. MDT on ESPN and AT&T SportsNet.
