Jazz Preseason Headlined By Big Names
The Jazz preseason schedule is littered with headline names playing for new rosters.
In their preseason debut, the Jazz will face the Rockets, who acquired superstar Kevin Durant in a blockbuster move this offseason.

The team will then travel to face Victor Wembanyama and second overall pick Dylan Harper when they play the Spurs in their final preseason road game.
Upon returning to Salt Lake City, the Jazz will face the Mavericks, featuring top overall pick Cooper Flagg, before hosting newly acquired Jrue Holiday and the Trail Blazers in their final preseason meeting.
The NBA’s regular season opens on October 21.
Jazz Will Feature Younger Rotation In 2025-26
Despite finishing with a franchise-worst 17-65 record last season, the Jazz will enter the 2025-26 campaign with even less experience on the roster.
The team traded guard Collin Sexton to the Charlotte Hornets for reserve center Jusuf Nurkic in July before sending second-leading scorer John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers for veterans Kyle Anderson and Kevin Love.

The Jazz also agreed to a buyout with former Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson, who has signed with the New York Knicks.
By moving on from the more experienced players on the roster, the Jazz have cleared room for a litany of young players to earn playing time next season, including 2025 first-round draft picks Ace Bailey and Walt Clayton Jr.
Bailey was the fifth overall pick by the Jazz in June’s draft, while the team traded up three spots to select Clayton Jr. with the 18th overall pick.
The Jazz have yet to announce broadcast schedules for the preseason.
