SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert rejected a shot attempt by Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman, which led to an easy layup by Utah’s Donovan Mitchell.

The Jazz hosted the Warriors at Vivint Arena on Saturday, January 23.
During the opening minute of the second half, Wiseman tried to make a driving layup over the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Gobert swatted the field goal attempt and Mitchell collected the rebound.
The fourth-year guard drove nearly the full length of the court before splitting two Golden State defenders and laying the ball off the glass for two points.

Mitchell’s layup gave the Jazz a 79-47 lead with 11:23 left in the third quarter.
For Gobert, it was his block of the contest.
The Jazz center also had 11 points and seven rebounds.

The layup resulted in Mitchell’s 19th and 20th points of the contest.
Mitchell reached 20 points or more in a game for the 13th time this season.
