Hall Of Fame Inductee Rudy Tomjanovich Thanks Jazz VP Dennis Lindsey

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee Rudy Tomjanovich thanked Jazz VP Dennis Lindsey during his speech.
Rudy Tomjanovich was inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame with the 2020 class. The ceremony was held on Saturday afternoon.
“To Dennis Lindsey, thank you for everything,” Tomjanovich said in his induction speech. “Your success with the Utah Jazz is no surprise to me.”

Tomjanovich was the head coach of the Houston Rockets from 1992-03 while winning back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995. At the time, Lindsey started his front office career with the Rockets as a video coordinator and scout during the summer of 1996.
He later became the team’s director of basketball development and promoted to director of player personnel in 1999. Later, Lindsey was the vice president of basketball operations in 2002 and was the assistant general manager before Tomjanovich departed.
There was another Jazz connection during the Hall of Fame ceremony as they honored those who passed away from the time of the 2019 ceremony to now. One of those individuals was Utah Jazz legendary head coach Jerry Sloan.
