Donovan Mitchell Spins, Sinks Reverse Layup During Jazz/Wolves Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell spun off a defender for a nifty reverse layup during Utah’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Wolves hosted the Jazz at Target Center on Wednesday, December 8.
With 3:34 remaining in the opening quarter, Mitchell spun away from Minnesota’s Taurean Prince and drove towards the basketball.
As he approached the hoop, Mitchell went up and under for a crafty reverse layup.
The field goal gave the Jazz a 29-28 lead.

At the end of the first 12 minutes, the Jazz owned a 34-33 advantage.
During the first quarter, Mitchell had a game-high 17 points on 6-8 field goals, including 3-5 on three-pointers. He added one rebound during his first 10 minutes on the hardwood.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 24.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
