Donovan Mitchell Sets Utah Jazz Record With Three-Pointers Against Hawks

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell set a franchise record for the most consecutive games with at least two made three-pointers.

The fourth-year guard buried his second triple of the game during the second quarter of Utah’s contest against the Atlanta Hawks.

Utah hosted the Atlanta at Vivint Arena on Friday, January 15.

With his second three, Mitchell set the Jazz franchise record for connecting on two or more threes in a game for the 16th straight contest.

He helped Utah stretch its lead to double digits at halftime, 61-46.

At the break, Mitchell had 20 points on 8-15 shooting, including 4-7 from downtown.

This season, he is averaging 23.4 points per game on 41.7 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three-point range.

In the first half, the Jazz shot 48.9 percent overall and 40.9 percent from distance.

Jazzmen Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley added 12 points and 10 points, respectively.

The Jazz limited the Hawks to 42.9 percent shooting, including only 8.3 percent from deep.

De’Andre Hunter led Atlanta with 10 points in the half.
