Donovan Mitchell Drops 13 Points In Third Quarter To Keep Game 6 Close

ORLANDO, Fla. – Donovan Mitchell continues to bring a massive spark offensively in the second half for the Jazz in the Playoffs.
After scoring 14 points in the first half, Mitchell finished with 13 points in the third quarter to put his point total to 27 at the end of three quarters.
The Jazz were trying to close out the Denver Nuggets in Game 6 of the Playoffs after holding a 3-2 series lead entering the game on Sunday.
The Nuggets’ largest lead in the second quarter was 10 points. Utah was able to cut the lead to one point in the third quarter.
With 3:41 left the @UtahJazz trail 77-74.
Not the typical big third quarter yet from the Jazz, but they're giving themselves a chance in the fourth quarter.

The Jazz started the game by making their first seven field goal attempts including their first three 3-pointers. Utah was 7 of 7 from the field and held a 15-8 lead with 9:06 remaining in the opening period.
During that stretch, Donovan Mitchell had 8 points on 3 of 3 shooting from the field and 2 for 2 from beyond the arc. Mike Conley added 5 points with a two-pointer and a three. Rudy Gobert also had 5 points with two field goals and a free throw.
The Jazz last played on Tuesday when they fell to the Nuggets in Game 5. Game 6 was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed when NBA players decided to boycott games after the Jacob Blake shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
