Donovan Mitchell Drills Heavily Contested Three As Shot Clock Expires

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell drilled a heavily contested three-pointer as the shot clock expired in Game 5 against the Clippers.

With 5:46 left in the first quarter and as the shot clock was winding down, Donovan Mitchell hit a three-pointer with a hand in his face.
It gave the Jazz an 18-15 lead over the Clippers.
The shot happened as Mitchell called a screen to get the switch from Reggie Jackson as the defender to Terrence Mann. Mitchell then took a step and a dribble to his right, pump faked and fired the three and drilled it.

Mitchell finished with 37 points in their Game 4 loss on Monday night. The Jazz all-star has a chip on his shoulder after being left off of the All-NBA team that was announced on Tuesday.
Game 6 between the Jazz and Clippers will be on Friday, June 18 at 8 p.m. MDT on ESPN.
