Anthony Edwards Suspended Against Jazz For 16th Technical Foul

SALT LAKE CITY – Anthony Edwards will not suit up against the Utah Jazz on Friday night after being suspended by the NBA.
Edwards picked up his 16th technical foul in the Minnesota Timberwolves loss on Thursday night leading to an automatic suspension.

Anthony Edwards Suspended For Technical Fouls
Edwards was ejected from Thursday’s 111-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers after arguing with officials about a non-whistle.
The All-Star guard missed the final 17 minutes of the game as the Wolves suffered their fifth loss in their last seven outings.
Minnesota is currently tied with the Dallas Mavericks in the 8/9 seed in the Western Conference at 32-28.

The Jazz, meanwhile, sit at 14-44 and in last place in the West.
Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers was their second straight, and their seventh in the last 10.
After facing the Timberwolves, the Jazz will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, and the Detroit Pistons on Monday to wrap up a nine-game home stand.
