SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz rookie Ace Bailey made his Nike commercial debut alongside superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In preparation for Antetokounmpo’s latest shoe, the Giannis Freak 7, the Jazz’s fifth overall pick took the court with the Milwaukee Bucks star for the ad.

In the ad, Antetokounmpo is shown mentoring young players in the gym about their play on the court.
As word spreads, Bailey and Rutgers teammate Dylan Harper show up at the gym to show off their skills.
The commercial is a reflection of a real-life interaction between Bailey, Harper, and the former Finals MVP.

In September of 2024, Antetokounmpo walked through several drills with Bailey and Harper, analyzing their games and teaching them how to get to their spots on the offensive side of the ball.
Bailey was widely expected to be selected before the Jazz were on the board with the fifth pick, but fell due to a lack of exposure during the pre-draft process.
After being selected by the Jazz, the 18-year-old has a message for Antetokounmpo upon entering the league.
“I got some more stuff for him, too — for sure,” Bailey told ESPN.
The Tennessee native was among the top freshman scorers in the draft, averaging 17.6 points per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 34 percent from three.
