SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – LeBron James earned the fourth championship of his career and led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 4-2 series victory over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.

The Lakers closed out the best-of-seven series on Sunday, October 11 inside the league’s bubble at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

After multiple months inside the NBA bubble, James and the Lakers were crowned as champions for the 2019-20 season with a 106-93 Game 6 victory over the Heat.

Titles for LeBron & Lakers

The win gave James his fourth NBA title and his first with Los Angeles.

After winning two titles as a member of the Heat, James won a title with the Cleveland Cavaliers before signing with the Lakers a couple of years ago.

It was James’ tenth appearance in the NBA Finals and ninth in the last ten seasons.

During the trophy presentations, James was named as NBA Finals MVP for the fourth time in his career.

For the Lakers, it was the organization’s first championship and appearance in the NBA Finals since 2010.

The NBA title is the Lakers’ 17th in franchise history and moved Los Angeles into a tie with the Boston Celtics for the most championships in league history.
