SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder Albert Rusnák connected from short range to give the home team an early lead over the LA Galaxy.

During the ninth minute of action. Real Salt Lake’s Aaron Herrera attacked the LA’s defense.
Herrera sent the ball into the box for a beautiful setup to Rusnák.
Rusnák buried the ball into the back of the net and gave RSL a 1-0 lead.

The score was Rusnák’s third goal of the season and his 33rd score as a member of Real Salt Lake.
Rusnák entered the match with two goals, five shots on goal, and two assists in 12 games for Real Salt Lake in 2021.
