Report: Seahawks Tender Former Highland High Standout Bryan Mone

SALT LAKE CITY – The Seattle Seahawks tendered former Highland Rams standout defensive lineman Bryan Mone, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

The Seahawks reporter shared the news on Thursday, March 17.
Sourcing the NFL wire, Henderson reported that Seattle tendered Mone.
The former Highland standout was tendered as an exclusive rights free agent. NFL free agency officially began a day earlier on March 16.
Exclusive rights free agents are players that have been in the league for less than three seasons and are only able to negotiate with their current team.
Per the NFL wire, Seattle also tendered three other exclusive rights FAs in addition to the ones listed above: DT Bryan Mone, WR Penny Hart, CB John Reid. All expected. Didn't tender DB Gavin Heslop, WR John Ursua or DE Marcus Webb. Can always re-sign them to a non-tender deal.

By extending a tender to Mone, the defensive lineman is likely to be in Seattle’s future plans and on the roster for the 2022 season.
About Bryan Mone
After his high school career, Mone played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 2014-18.
He went undrafted in 2019 before signing with the Seahawks.
Last season, Mone had 35 total tackles, 15 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup in 14 games.

During his three seasons in the league, Mone has recorded 48 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, and a pass breakup in 28 games played.
Seattle finished the 2021 season with a 7-10 record.
