Ravens QB Tyler Huntley Tosses Second Touchdown Pass In Wild Card Round

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley threw his second touchdown pass of Super Wild Card Weekend to tie the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals hosted the Ravens at Paycor Stadium for Sunday Night Football on January 15.
With 2:13 left in the third quarter, Huntley connected with Demarcus Robinson for 41 yards and six points.
The strike and subsequent PAT tied the game at 17-17.

Huntley’s toss capped a five-play, 81-yard drive that took 2:49 off the clock.
After his second score, Huntley was 12/16 passing for 154 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also had four carries for 10 yards.
The former Utah standout’s first touchdown pass came with 4:53 to go in the first half when Huntley found J.K. Dobbins for a two-yard touchdown and the Ravens’ first points of the game.

Huntley started the game after missing the Ravens’ regular season finale due to injury. It was Huntley’s first postseason start.

Before missing the Week 18 finale, Huntley started four consecutive games for the Ravens. On December 4, Huntley replaced Jackson after he suffered a knee injury during Baltimore’s win over the Denver Broncos.

During his five games played this season, Huntley has helped the Ravens to a 3-2 record, including 2-2 in starts.
He’s thrown for 658 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in 2022. Huntley has also run the ball 43 times for 137 yards and a touchdown.
The Ravens finished the regular season in second place in the AFC North division with a 10-7 record.

About Tyler Huntley
Before his in the NFL, Huntley was a standout player at the University of Utah. He played for the Utes from 2016-19. During his Utah career, the Dania, Florida native threw for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions with a 67 percent completion rate.
Huntley signed with the Ravens after going undrafted following the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’s spent the majority of his time in Baltimore as the backup to Jackson.

The former Utah star has thrown for 1,624 yards, four touchdowns, and six interceptions during his three seasons with the Ravens. He’s also run for 430 yards and three touchdowns.
Huntley will be a free agent after the season.
