SALT LAKE CITY – The 2025 NFL Divisional Round is officially wrapped up. Players with local ties made their mark in all four games this weekend.
Every local NFL player who recorded a stat, with the top performances highlighted, or helped their team pick up a win can be found in our weekly roundup.
The Conference Championships begin on Sunday, January 26 as the Eagles host the Commanders and the Chiefs host the Bills.

NFL Locals’ Divisional Round: Top Performances, All Stats, And More
Top Local NFL Performances
- Bingham High standout Dalton Schultz was one of Houston’s top receivers in a 23-14 loss to the Chiefs on Saturday. Schultz pulled down four receptions for 63 yards which included two highlight grabs in the first and fourth quarters.
- Former BYU WR Puka Nacua was Los Angeles’ leading receiver in Philadelphia on Sunday. He posted six receptions for 97 yards. This included a 37-yard catch late in the fourth to keep the Rams’ hopes for a win alive.

In The Statsheet
- Former Utah WR Tim Patrick made one big play for the Lions on Saturday night, grabbing a 22-yard reception early in the fourth quarter.
- Former Utah State LB Bobby Wagner’s impact was felt both on and off the stat sheet for Washington as he posted eight total tackles (two solo) in Washington’s upset win in Detroit.
- Former BYU LB Kyle Van Noy recorded three total tackles (one solo), 0.5 sacks, and two QB hits against the Bills.
- Former Utah TE Dalton Kincaid caught one pass for 11 yards on Sunday Night Football.
- Former Weber State CB Taron Johnson had three total tackles (two solo) and a pass breakup in a win over Baltimore.
- Former Utah safety Cole Bishop had three total tackles (one solo) on Sunday Night.
Advancing To Conference Title Games
- Two former BYU Cougars in Kansas City, offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia and head coach Andy Reid, helped the Chiefs keep their dreams of a three-peat alive with a win over the Houston Texans.
- Three locals on the Commanders will head to Philadelphia next weekend with a chance to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Utah State LB Bobby Wagner, BYU CB Michael Davis, and former Utah Ute turned assistant head coach Brian Johnson.
- Although he hasn’t seen much postseason burn, former Utah WR and return specialist Britain Covey will suit up in the NFC Championship game against the Commanders on Sunday afternoon.
