SALT LAKE CITY – Utah running back Micah Bernard was snubbed of a combine invite and didnt get drafted, but his game speaks for itself.
It was announced on Saturday, April 26, that the Tennessee Titans signed Bernard as an undrafted free agent.

The former Utes star will join a Titans team that finished with a 3-14 record in 2024.
Despite finishing with a league-worst record, there’s a lot to be hopeful about in Tennessee. First, and most obviously, they selected Miami QB Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
More specific to Bernard, both the personnel and the offensive scheme suit him well. The team had its fair share of struggles last year, but still finished with a league-average rushing offense.
The offensive line isn’t great. But they addressed that with one of their picks and will likely look to add another piece in the offseason.

Bernard has great hands and good vision as a runner. The biggest area of improvement with him will be athleticism, specifically straight-line speed and agility.
The Titans took Michigan RB Kalel Mullings in the 6th round and already have veteran back Tony Pollard in the running back room. There will be competition, but Bernard could definitely find his way to the final roster with a good preseason.
About Micah Bernard
Bernard was born in Long Beach, California, and attended Gahr High School, where he was a standout football, basketball, and track athlete.
He joined the Utah Football program in 2019 and redshirted his freshman year. He played in five games in 2020 and recorded 15 carries for 76 yards as well as four catches for 25 yards.
In 2021 and 2022, he posted over 750 all-purpose yards in both seasons. He had nine touchdowns across the two years. In 2023, he played in just two games due to injury.
Last year was without a doubt his best. He finished with 1,009 yards on the ground and 150 receiving yards for six total TDs. In many games, Bernard was the heart of the Utes’ offense.
Across his college career, he posted 2,217 rushing yards for 11 touchdowns and 770 receiving yards for five more touchdowns.
