SALT LAKE CITY – Jack Damuni, Director of Football Operations for BYU football, shared a video of the moment former Cougar running back Tyler Allgeier received his draft call from the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons selected Allgeier with the No. 151 overall pick during the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The fifth round of the NFL Draft took place in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 30.
Allgeier was the 12th running back selected during the three-day event.
After his selection, Allgeier and his family and friends celebrated together as red confetti flew through the air.

During his time in Provo, Allgeier ran the ball 452 times for 2,899 yards and 36 touchdowns.
