After a rocky one-year stint in New York, Davante Adams has landed with the Los Angeles Rams. The change of scenery has brought sunshine, optimism, and some new star teammates.
At the Rams’ OTAs, Adams praised third-year wideout Puka Nacua, speaking highly of both his talent and character.

“I got a lot of respect for his game,” Adams said. “His approach is exactly what a young guy in this league should have. With a veteran coming in, it makes it more fun and easier for me to share the secrets, tools, and nuances that go into wide receiver play. He’s eager to learn, which makes it fun too.”
For the entirety of Nacua’s career, his veteran in the WR room was Cooper Kupp. Now with Kupp in Seattle, it appears that Adams will step into that role. However, it looks like Nacua will be the undisputed No. 1 guy in 2025.
With that said, Adams still has a lot to offer on the gridiron. Outside of the new relationship with Nacua, he went into how his welcome to Southern California has been.
“It’s been exactly what I needed, feeling rejuvenated and really, really enjoying the time with the guys, getting to know them, getting on the same page with Matthew (Stafford), and just kind of gelling with the whole team right now,” Adams said. “It feels like I’ve been on this team for a couple of years now, just based off of how open and receptive the guys have been to me.”
