SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah forward and current Milwaukee Buck Kyle Kuzma used his all-star break to announce his engagement to supermodel Winnie Harlow.
Kuzma and Harlow announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday, February 18.

The former Ute recently joined Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Milwaukee Bucks after three and a half seasons with the Washington Wizards.
Kuzma’s production has taken a hit with significant dips in every offensive category. His down year may have something to do with the fact that Washington has the least wins in the league and is last in offensive efficiency and second to last in defensive efficiency in the NBA.
He heads to a team in a completely different situation. The Milwaukee Bucks currently sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings and will likely make the playoffs for the ninth year in a row.

Additionally, Kuzma will not need to carry all of the weight offensively as he did in Washington, as he will now be in a lineup with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. With less pressure, Kuzma may thrive as a third option on a playoff-contending team.
Kuzma will share the court with Lillard, who is 12th in the NBA in assists, a stat that Kyle is sure to benefit from as an off-ball scorer. Kuzma is also slightly below average from beyond the arc for a small forward in his career but has shot as well as 36.6% over the course of a season. As the third scoring option, Kuzma may himself open along the perimeter for some catch-and-shoot opportunities, giving him a chance at some less contested high-percentage opportunities.
About Kyle Kuzma
Kuzma was acquired by the Wizards in August of 2021 in a five-team blockbuster trade centered around the Los Angeles Lakers acquiring Russell Westbrook.
The former Ute enjoyed the best two seasons of his career with the Wizards before opting out of his current deal. Kuzma averaged 19.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 130 starts in the nation’s capital.
In what is considered one of the weaker free agent classes in recent offseasons, Kuzma should garner significant interest from teams looking to add a high-scoring forward to their roster.

Kuzma played for the Runnin’ Utes from 2014-17 before being selected by the Lakers in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.
The forward averaged 10.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists with the Utes in 96 appearances. Kuzma won an NBA title as a member of the Lakers in 2020 during the COVID-19-shortened season in Orlando.
